
Brock Colvin was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives representing District 26 on November 8th, 2022. Upon his election at age 27, Colvin became the youngest member of the Alabama Legislature. District 26 covers the southern portion of Marshall County in the cities of Albertville, Boaz, Douglas, and Guntersville. Colvin serves on the Ways and Means Education Committee, Commerce and Small Business Committee, and Insurance Committee. Colvin is involved in several organizations in his local community. He is a member of the Albertville Rotary Club, a member of the Albertville and Boaz Chambers of Commerce, a former Ambassador to the Albertville Chamber of Commerce, and a member of First Baptist Church in Albertville. Colvin is employed in Albertville as a licensed financial advisor. Before his current role, Colvin worked as an insurance agent at Randy Jones and Associates in Albertville. Colvin graduated from Albertville High School in 2014 and Snead State Community College in 2016. At Albertville and Snead State, Colvin was a pitcher for the baseball teams. Colvin finished his education at the University of Alabama in 2019 where he earned degrees in Economics and Finance and studied Risk Management and Political Science. While attending the University of Alabama, Colvin interned in the Alabama State Senate during the 2018 Regular Session. Colvin resides in Albertville, and his current term expires in 2026.
