
Representative Randy Wood was first elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in 2002 and is serving his second term. Prior to serving in the House, Representative Wood served as a Calhoun County commissioner from 1998-2002. Representative Wood is a graduate of Saks High School and Southern Union College. He owns Wood's Auto Body Shop in Anniston. Representative Wood served six years in the Alabama National Guard, is a member of the Saks Civitan Club, Weaver Lions Club, and the Fraternal Order of Police - Lodge #4. Born in Tift County, Georgia on March 25, 1947, he has one daughter, Allison, son-in-law, Kevin Thrasher and two grandchildren, Payton and Conner.
